It
is with great pleasure and honor to announce that
the Indian Polo Association and the Honorable Chief
Minister of Punjab, HH Capt Maharaja Amarinder
Singh are hosting the 55th FPI Ambassadors
cup in beautiful (Patiala) Punjab, India, March 8
to 12, 2006
This event will be unforgettable. The
house of Patiala are legendary hosts known for their
hospitality and care.
The
only two 10 goal players from India viz. Mr. Joginder
Singh & Mr. Jaswant Singh were from Patiala.
This tournament is limited to 24 international players
to accommodate 12 teams. Please send the attached
FIP Registration form
and $750 entry fee to the FIP office. The reservation
will be filled on a first-paid, first - confirmed
basis, absolutely no exceptions.
In addition to polo, the organizing committee is planning
opening and closing ceremonies, folk dance, trick
riding display etc, visits to museums, palaces forts,
the Golden Temple, and meetings with local leading
industrialists of Punjab. For more information on

Incredibly generous, the honorable Chief Minister
of Punjab, HH Capt Maharaja Amarinder Singh has arranged
complementary stay at the Taj hotel in Chandigarh.
In addition to this, all ground transportation, sightseeing,
etc organized centrally are free of charge. Every
evening is booked for a social get together.

Lt. Gen A S Bahia, PVSM, AVSM**, QMG and Army Chief
Steward IPA has been to Argentina to attend the AGM
of the FIP where he gave a presentation on the highlights
of the Ambassador Cup to be held in Patiala.
There has been an overwhelming response from the ambassadors
to attend the same.
